Hey there my name is Amanda and I have been a dog groomer for 3 years. As far as the bath goes, you may want to try bathing her outside and see if she does better. Some dogs just don't like being confined to a small room or bathtub. You should also try feeding her treats while you are bathing her so that she learns that bath time is supposed to be a fun time. You should also use a hypoallergenic shampoo until you can fully rinse her after the bath so that she is less irritated. For her nails you should handle her feet more and feed her treats as you handle her feet so she gets used to it. I wouldn't recommend the Pedi Paws because it is really loud and a lot of dogs are afraid of the noise. I use just a regular Dremel tool at work because its a lot more powerful so the job can get done faster and it is not as loud so most dogs aren't afraid of it. I hope this helps!

With Windows Server 2008 out there, what certification path should I.T. students follow?

I ask because I'm currently taking a 70-290 course. I don't want to study 2003 to only be told that cert is irrelevant now. While we're on the subject, what currently is a good cert. path to follow? I'm 35yo, and I know many may say youre never to old, but those certs that have a lot of programming may be my downfall such as Cisco. How can i report a pedi clinic that has a full staff and they are not certified but are giving meds to kids.?

I found out that the pediatric clinic that i take my child to has a full staff of fake nurses and medical istance some have never even work in a hospital or clinic one of the staff member even calls in prescriptions to the pharmacy without a doctors authorization. Apparently from what i found out from one of the staff member the doctor told her that as long as she working under his authorization is fine to give meds and vacines because the state of florida allows it.

Last summer I exercised almost everyday for hours to look good and to be what one would call "gorgeous". It made me absolutely miserable but I accomplished it very well and it made me very mentally strong which still hasn't worn off which is why I think God had me do it. Okay I have liked this guy for about 5 years now. i have been going through depression for about 6 months.. last week i had a hospital stay.. and got counseling and all this. i am home now...and mentally a little better...they tried me on all these meds but none of them work....xanax or anxiety reliever seems to be the only help to where i can think clearly...but i am home now and my day consists of laying in bed or getting on computer....i have no energy and my face looks flushed and tired i got a physical exam and my doc said looks like i have a hormone imbalance...she demanded losts of tests and blood work...cause this could be contributing to my depression. but how can i regain control of my life and get energy and thinking clearly. i am CONTSTANTLy sick looking and fatigued. and lately i have been taking vitamins and eating a healthy diet...i just cant think clearly, and i barely wanna leave my room...how can i just feel refreshed and healthy again , sharp minded, happy, and get my life on track. i am 19 years old...i am pretty weak and sickly..i just need to know or advice on small baby steps i can take...

Hey, I'm a 14 year old male living in Houston and am thinking about running away. I have elaborated and speculated over this for two months now, and am more positive than ever. I've looked at other situations on Wiki-Answers and Yahoo Answers, and already expect the loads of crap some of you will give me. My Dad loves me, I love him. My Nana(grandmother) loves me, I love her. I'm pretty sure they will miss me a lot. If I leave, my uncle won't give a s#&@, my mom will "miss me", but only yell and scream at me more if I come back home. That is the problem. Because she is 60 years old, she bickers and nags, sceams and yells, then suddenly changes her mood 5 seconds later, saying she is sorry. She is also this way according to how exhausted she is. If she isn't exhausted, she will do this. If she had a bad day, she will take it out on the entire family, mostly me and my dad. If she is exhausted and tired, she is very nice. I could try talking to my dad, but he has no power over her. She makes the money, my dad barely makes any. Also, she is very fat,obese,stout,plump(call it what you will) and old, so she is too f%&@ing lazy to do anything. Instead, I am practically her slave and emotional punchingbag. Whenever she gets home, I'm trying to calm myself down from school, and I MUST get her a drink, food, insulin, and get her crap from the car and move it all to her room. I can understand the insulin, but everything else I think she should at least make an effort to do it. Concerning school, if I dont get an A or a B, it's either grounded, emotional punching bag time, or a huge lecture on "you better do better next time or this might get messy" kind of thing. You know what's even better? THERE'S MORE, but I don't want to put it n here, since you have so much to go through. I can't trust any of my friends, except for a few, to go to. Knowing them, they will probably rat me out. I try and talk to my mom my self, or through my dad, but that only makes the arguments worse. I tried it a few times actually, that being during the two months I thought about running away. I read about the cops catching me and what not, and breaking the trust between me and my parents, but I know my dad will understand, he went through the thought of suicide, and some other stuff. Building 1 story vs. 2 story home?

I am a single mother of 2 small children, having just gotten divorced. I am getting ready to construct a new home, very small, only around 1500-1600 square feet. I do not have a big budget, BUT, everything in this area is WAY overpriced, so building is my only option. I am wanting the basic home, 3 bedrooms, 2 to 2 1/2 baths. I have not decided on a plan yet. When you see period dramas on TV and films, the pace of life seems a lot slower and more relaxing, but this is mainly due to the fact that these dramas revolve around the lifes of richer people, and if you were poor you're life would have been s**t. Even people who say they would like to live in the 70's or 80's wouldn't actually enjoy themselves, as there would be no internet or modern technologies. I like to think about living in a different time period as just a nice day dream or fantasy, something thats never actually going to happen, and you probably wouldnt want it to happen, but it's nice to escape into it sometimes.

Alright i know this is pretty random, but i have this old price is right episode in my head. Back in the days of barker there was this contestant on contestants row who guessed the price of a grandfather clock perfectly. heres the catch, before bidding on the clock Bob said something like well what do u think the price is and the guy said "bob i know the exact price of that clock" and placed his bid. Are people helpful when no one is looking?

There's a t.v. show "What Would You Do" that examines how people react to awkward social situations, basically a test of ethics. If there were an online version, would people be generally helpful, uninvolved, or add fuel to the fire?? My personal experience is that people generally try to help others....sometimes it is really hard to pick a best answer! It's great to have an anonymous stranger take the time to care, right? However, the written word is easily misinterpreted (usually negatively) and there's little accountability for fueling the fire or being mean on forums...or chiming in just to get attention (or, in this case, points). Is This Canon Sure Shot SX 30 Camera Defective re: No Flash?

I got it for Xmas this past year. It's worked well these last 6 months or so, but the FLASH will not work. It's the 1st time I've tried to use the flash. I've followed the instructions and the downloaded CD. I manually raise the flash, choose the 'lightening bolt' on (which appears on the screen) but when I try to use the triangular arrow ons to navigate about the screen, and highlight the lightening bolt, I only get 'self timer'.

I have, i saved my, at the time, 5 year old cousin from getting a concrete paving slab fall on her head however it hit me instead and I had stitches in my head. I was about 8. Another time, me mum bro sis and nan went to a privat swimming so we was only ones there and no lifeguard. My sis couldn't swim wivout armbands but she was sitting on the steps where nobody was watching her cos they were playing wi mi bro. I was just swimming along the bottom and I came up for air and looked at the steps and sis was gone. I looked towards mum an them but she wasn't there. she was in the water without her armbands and kicking her legs like billio and trying to shout but she was just sinking. I got over as quick as I could and swept her up onto the side. She was crying and exhausted and shaking. My mum still hadn't noticed anything until I shouted them angrily. Period problems.....?

I'm in college and my only option for a doctor/gyno is the university medical center on campus (off campus doctors offices won't see a university student without a referral from the campus clinic). I went to the women's clinic because of problems during my period. I get extremely exhausted to the point where it takes a LOT of effort to function (which sucks for school and makes studying a pain), I have back and upper leg pain (kind of muscle aches.... like how it feels when you have pulled muscles), I have blood clots during the first few days that range in size from a dime to silver dollar size. I also feel like my period is unusually heavy in the beginning, I have to wake up in the middle of the night to change my pad or I'll wake up with a gross mess. I get extremely cranky and one wrong thing and I can be in tears. This has been happening for the last few years with all of these symptoms getting increasingly worse. The one good thing about my periods is that they've always been like clockwork coming at exactly when I think they will lasting the exact number of days I expect. I told the University clinic nurse all of this information. They immediately ask me how many ual partners I've had in my life, the age I lost my virginity, the last time I had and if I could possibly be pregnant. Then when the doctor came in I told them that I feel like I loose a week of my life because of my period and that my symptoms have REALLY been interfering with my life. The doctor says "well you know what we usually do for this don't you", I have no clue....then she says "I'm gonna start you on birth control". So I've heard that people are put on the pill to help with period issues, and I trusted the doctor. I went in there expecting to maybe have some routine bloodwork run, a PAP smear/full exam done, and maybe a urine test...but they did none of that. I was never actually physically examined. I was put on sprintec (b/c it's cheap and was supposed to help with my moods). IT WAS HELL. I was on it for 6 months and I never had a regular period. I'd get 2 periods a month, some lasting 2 weeks at a time. I experienced severe abdominal cramping which on more than one occasion left me curled in a ball crying hysterically. It felt like someone was wringing my uterus out like a dishtowel. I've never experienced abdominal cramping that severe or intense in my life. I called the medical clinic and left a message for the clinic's gyno to call me back listing the problems I was having. I was told that what I was experiencing was normal and I should just "stick it out a couple months" until my "body gets used to the hormones in the pill". It never got better. I noticed that while on the pill I went from being a generally upbeat, fun, happy person who laughed all the time to someone who cried and got depressed over everything. I tried talking to the university gyno about it and was told it was all normal while my body was adjusting to the BC. After 6 months...I couldn't take it anymore and stopped taking the BC. I'm frustrated b/c I feel like the doctor didn't take me seriously. I know that my symptoms ARE NOT NORMAL....and I wouldn't have gone to the doctor over normal PMS...but my period is REALLY interfering with my everyday life. For a week each month I barely have the energy to get out of bed, I can't workout because of the back and leg pain, I go off on EVERYONE around me because I feel so bad physically....which makes me feel like a complete and utter *****. I don't know what could be wrong. I don't know what kinds of tests I should ask for (when I had the flu....they tried to give me antibiotics for "food poisoning"....I demanded to have a rapid flu test...which came back positive....and the doc to said "well..I was wrong about the food poisoning...good thing you made me think to test you for the flu....these antibiotics wouldn't have helped you at all). What should I ask them to do? I know they should have done a "yearly" exam and maybe some bloodwork....I don't know what could be wrong. anyone been through symptoms like this?

I am a young teenage girl with severe emetophobia (fear of vomit). Today I was on a nauseating bus ride that lasted four hours. Almost everyone got motion sickness, and I was fighting off panic attacks because I was afraid someone would barf. I got motion sickness as well towards the end and now, a few hours later, after sitting at the computer for a while, I am still experiencing waves of nausea, and I can't eat because I'm worried. (I ate normally throughout the day, though.) Please help. I don't often throw up, and I tend to "worry myself sick"; literally. How long will the nausea last? Am I sick? What's wrong with me? (Plus I keep having flashbacks of the admittedly traumatizing bus ride and that is not helping.)

My daughter is recovering from alcohol/drug abuse. She's been clean for a few weeks. She hit bottom after leaving the state with her drug using boyfriend only to find that he was very abusive (go figure) whenever he was lit up, which was most of the time. She decided to get clean and move back to our state. He did not take her departure well and is constantly calling her and threatening her. She is living with a friend and managed to get her job back, but for some reason (maybe someone could tell me how) her boyfriend got wind of all this and now my daughter is in fear for her life. She tells me that we should get a restraining order on him so he doesn't do anything to us. To us? My daughter has put the entire family in jeopardy due to her stupid choices while under the influence. I want to help her, but I'm tired and pissed. Am I sick to think that maybe my daughter is so screwed up that she intentionally let her ex boyfriend know where she works and lives? What would be the right thing to do? She's a grown woman now and whatever mistakes she makes is her problem, but I just don't know how involved I should be. Should I cut her off until she has more time of sobriety and maturity under her belt? Am I supposed to hold her hand and guide her on what to do in these situations? I'm so tired, confused and I have lost hope. Can anyone give me some new insight or suggestions on the best way to deal with this? I have two younger ones still at home and I will not allow them to get hurt by this. Thanks all of you in advance for your answers.

Since I jailbroke my iPod Touch 3G 8GB, I've been experiencing mad lag and m battery drainage. Does anyone know of any way these are avoidable? Apparently, OpenSSH causes the battery drainage. Cydia says it's not, only does when I use it. Even when I'm not on wifi, my battery still gets drained, though. Any solutions to either?

I'm 16 too, and I just told my best friend that I care about him. I always go over to his house or he comes to mine, and we always hang out. It's sometimes difficult for us guys to express our appreciation for someone, but when I really wanted to, I just went up to him, and told him that I'm always thankful that he's always there for me, and that I'll be there in exchange. I would plan it like a vow renewal. its simpler then a wedding ceremony. no wedding party, no gifts. since your already married the ceremony would be different anyways since you cant exactly get remarried and sing new forms or anything. so I would suggest letting the family that doesnt know your married know that you are married becuase once they attned the ceremony they will figure it out and might be hurt you didnt tell them. otherwish plan it how you like and have fun.

Mt brothers laptop does a similar thing. His HDD is on the way out but I think, has yours been running slower?. Also, just another suggestion, though un likely. Do you use an external interface to record with?. try plugging that in and seeing if the sound out-put works any better. If it does, then you have word-clock issues, being that the interface is master, and your computer is slave, and it's not reverting back to it's own internal generator when you dis-connect the interface. I have been keeping my tampons/pads in a pocket of my backpack, but for some crazy reason people love going through my stuff. Like this one time a guy asked to borrow my calculator, he was sitting in my seat and I was across the room, I said okay. Then he proceeded to open the pocket where I keep my stuff and I was like ahhhhh don't look in there!!! And luckily I got there before he saw anything, but he kept pestering me because he wanted to know what I was hiding. My locker is too far away and just keeping them in my backpack isn't going to work either. first what you would have to do is lightly sand the dresser. that would take the shiny coat off. they have these foam sanding blocks that are really easy to hold when you sand. valspar is a good brand of paint. i don't know if you can get that at true value or not though. i know you can get it at lowes though. a tarp would be a very good idea to have the dresser sitting on. make sure you take all of the hardware off, like the drawer pulls. for the mirror the best thing to do is get painter's tape and tape the whole edge with newspaper in the middle. that will protect the mirror from getting painted. if you do get paint on the mirror that's fine, but the way to clean it off is to use a razor blade and scrap it off. good luck.

I have a casio fx-83 MS so this ones probably almost the same as yours. On the case of the calculator, their should be a quick reference to some calculations. Last time this happened to me, I 'm pretty sure I looked where it said 'mode intialization' and you follow the steps (on mine you type shift clr 2= ). If that is wrong, I'm sure I found out how to fix the problem looking at the quick refrence, so just look around it to see if there is a solution. Look at the data edit on the quick reference as well, as I may have used that.

Stationary Bouncers...not the seated ones?

My son is 12 weeks old...can hold head up really well, wondering if he is too young for one of the stationary bouncy/exersaucers? He has almost out grown his bouncy seat and needs some sort of activity. Also wondering if these are bad for a child...I heard the the walkers caused bow leggedness and spinal problems if used too soon. Do these cause the same problems?
