Do the Bears Really stand a Snow Chance?
Colts were 10-0 at home in the dome, 5-4 on the road, lost 4 of the last 7 games of the season giving up over 200 yds a game on the ground in those 4 losses. I don't know if the Bears can win but they will run the ball today and eat some clock so I don't see it being a blowout. One other factor to consider is the Bears have the best kick coverage unit in the league which forces there opponents into long drives if they score a TD. The Colts scored a TD 20% of the time when they start a drive at there 30 or futher. With an average of 15-20 possesions a game thats 3 TD's. The only way that changes is if Grossman turns the ball over, and if the NO game is any indication he's going to throw the ball away if his first 2 reads are covered. Thats why the whole game rides on the Bears being able to run the ball.
