Why are the questions "Why?" and "Why not?" offensive to Yahoo answers?

Last night I posted the questions "Why?" and "Why not?" on Yahoo answers and they were removed. I filled an appeal and was told that these questions are offensive. How and to Whom? This seems more like censorship to me. Since when is asking an abstract question any more offensive than the numerous questions criticizing any religious belief that is not the questioners.
