Hi, I think it's great of you to bring this all to our notice and I've just signed the petition. I also agree with Metallic, but any effort in this direction should be appreciated and not termed as hypocrisy. Are you sure the fur used is only the by product of the food industry? You don't seem to have cited any sources. As far as banning leather goes, I'm all for it, but even at home I've not been able to convert anyone into a pure vegetarian and neither can they be persuaded to give up leather mechandise. They're just too stubborn when it comes to these topics. However everything can only be done in steps. Step number one, ban cat and dog fur trade. Step number two, ban leather. Step three ...
